Basement Bhangra in Travers Park. Everyone came out to dance and hear great music. Everyone. You had people playing futbol, cricket, basketball, jumprope, hopscotch, and catch. Kids played in the sprinklers and on the playground equipment. Groups of people practiced tai chi.
And I realized that one day, 15 or 20 years from now, everyone in this neighborhood will be some shade of gorgeous brown. We are so diverse, so interesting, and yet, pretty much the same. JH rocks.

Yes, she labeled, dated, and froze cupcakes. Once I peeled back the industrial strength silver foil, there was a layer of plastic wrap. And a muffin paper covering the icing. I am pretty sure she sprayed the paper with oil to ensure that it would not stick.
Cupcakes, people. You thought my closets were well organized? You can't even imagine her system.
